Pros
- •Stunning 4K UHD QLED display with 100% color volume and Quantum Dot technology delivers crisp, vibrant, and detailed picture quality that holds up well from various viewing angles.
- •Brightness and color settings offer flexible adjustments for different lighting conditions, enhancing viewing comfort.
- •Sleek AirSlim design gives the TV a modern, minimalist look that fits seamlessly into most living rooms.
- •Samsung Vision AI provides advanced picture and sound optimization for an enhanced viewing experience.
- •Alexa built-in adds convenient voice control without needing extra devices.
- •Comes with an intuitive, lightweight remote control that is easy to handle and pairs well with multiple streaming apps.
- •Seamless syncing with compatible Samsung soundbars (like the Q600F) results in better overall audio experience.
- •Easy installation process and overall user-friendly setup.
- •Endless free content and a wide variety of apps available provide plenty of entertainment options right out of the box.
- •Reliable performance makes it a solid candidate for repurchasing in the future.
Cons
- •The remote control can be overly sensitive, often triggering accidental channel or menu changes with the slightest touch, and it is small enough to be easily misplaced.
- •Lack of a quick "previous channel" button on the newer solar remote is a downgrade from older Samsung remotes.
- •Sound control via the remote can feel inconsistent or "wonky," especially when managing multiple remotes from different devices.
- •Interface and menu navigation pose a steep learning curve, requiring some adjustment time to become proficient.
- •Many built-in AI features and apps go unused by average users, potentially adding unnecessary complexity.
- •Online support tends to rely on AI chatbots rather than direct human help, which can be frustrating for complex issues.
- •The TV’s mounting holes for attaching the stand are oddly spaced (8.5 inches apart for a 50-inch model), potentially causing stability concerns with some stands and mounts.
- •Using a soundbar directly in front of the TV may interfere with the remote’s signal; a riser is recommended to fix this inconvenience.
Bottom Line
The SAMSUNG 65-Inch Class QLED Q8F 4K UHD Smart TV (2025 Model) shines with its breathtaking picture quality, sleek design, and smart AI functionalities, making it an excellent upgrade for anyone ready to elevate their home theater experience. However, the somewhat fiddly remote and quirky mounting hole spacing are mild annoyances that might require some patience or extra accessories to work around. If you're after a TV that delivers brilliant visuals, voice control, and wide content options but want a smoother remote experience, you might want to keep an eye out for other Samsung QLEDs with improved remotes in the future — though this model remains a strong contender right now.
